JKX informs the market that as at 1^st February 2010 JKX capital consists of 171,775,651 ordinary shares of 10 pence each with voting rights.  JKX Oil & Gas plc holds 402,771 ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in JKX Oil & Gas plc is 171,372,880.

The above figure 171,372,880 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, JKX Oil & Gas plc under the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
