JKX informs the market that as at 31 December 2009 JKX capital consists of 157,513,880 ordinary shares of 10 pence each with voting rights.  JKX Oil & Gas plc holds 402,771 ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in JKX Oil & Gas plc is 157,111,109.

The above figure 157,111,109 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, JKX Oil & Gas plc under the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
