Hernad:  We hold a 50% equity in the northern Pannonian Basin Hernad licences in a joint venture with the operator Hungarian Horizon Energy (HHE).  The licences cover an area of 5,410sq km.  In May 2008 the Hajdnanas field was discovered with first production commencing August 2009. 

Nyirseg: JKX also farmed in to the adjacent Nyirseg licence which was previously operated by PetroHungaria.  HHE has since taken over the operatorship and the licence has become 50/50 with JKX.  The Gorbehaza field discovery in 2009 has now been tied into the Hajdunanas gas production facility and first gas achieved in August 2010.

Veszto:   JKX farmed in for a 25% interest in the exploration licence held by HHE.  A hydrocarbon column of 85 metres was encountered by successful drilling in late 2009.  The well was fracture stimulated and tested in 2010.  Initial rates were steady,  however this was not sustained through the two month test period.  It has been concluded that this potentially very large structure will require additonal appraisal and formation stimulation.   Evaluation work continues in this area.

Turkeve:  JKX has entered into an agreement with HHE to farm in to the drilling of up to seven wells in north east Hungary.  One well has encouraging results.
