JKX has a 4 per cent net profit interest in the Georgian Black Sea Production Sharing Contract for an area that covers 8,900sq.km – approximately 80 per cent of the Georgian Black sea shelf.

The operator, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, has carried out extensive surveys on the block and has identified a number of significant prospects.
