Rudenkovskoye is the most northerly of the four production licences. The target reservoirs within the licence are the Tournasian and Devonian sands which are found at depths of between 3,000m and 5,000m. Based on data from old wells drilled by the State companies in the 1970s and 1980s, productive areas have been identified on the licence.

These are Well R12Z, which was redrilled by PPC in 2005, Well R101, which was drilled in 2006 and Well R102, which was drilled in early 2007. During 2008 the fracture stimulation programme was finalised and equipment mobilised ready for the fracture stimulation of both wells, R101 and R102, in 2009.
