The Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of JKX and is the largest non-state producer of oil and gas in Ukraine.

Established in 1994, PPC initially focused its efforts on four fields located within the Novo-Nikolaevskoye complex located in the Poltava region of Ukraine. Production of commercial quantities of oil and gas began in 1995.

JKX’s ability to efficiently develop its producing interests within the Novo-Nikolaevskoye complex has provided the Company with a strong cash flow and a competitive edge over other operators within the area. JKX has harnessed this ability and has successfully expanded its presence within the Dneiper Donets basin in east Ukraine.
